New special milling machine for large-format machine body panels

Precision? It’s a question of format!
Mechanical engineering demands ever tighter tolerances. Highest precision is the goal. The aim is to produce machines with shorter cycle times and constantly increasing output. This means constructively: The number of individual parts and joints in a machine design must be reduced as far as possible. This opens up opportunities for increasing efficiency and opens up decisive competitive advantages. The trend is therefore towards ever larger construction panels. Batz+Burgel manufactures them in XXL dimensions and has invested in a new large-format milling machine for this purpose. This means we can offer you the ideal format for all your requirements. In terms of partnership as well as workpiece dimensions.
3,000 x 6,000 mm
We could do big so far. With the new special milling machine we now manufacture base plates for mechanical engineering and metal construction in final formats up to 3,000 × 6,000 mm! Precise and variable. The spectrum ranges from CAD-controlled 4-axis machining and drilling of all types to milling of any contours and free forms.
On the plate. Finished. Go.
The design advantages of large-format machine body panels speak for themselves. However, as a professional you are also familiar with the associated handling challenges and fear expensive follow-up investments? Wrongly so, because with us you also turn these challenges into opportunities: through professional outsourcing of component assembly.
Ready for assembly – just in time
Batz+Burgel not only produces large-format finished parts with all contours and openings. On request, we can even supply you with completely pre-assembled machine bodies with all attachments – just-in-time, directly to your final assembly, individually and at favourable conditions. In this way, you reduce your costs for internal logistics, the flow of goods and warehousing to a minimum. You relieve your specialists and save a lot of time and money while increasing your competitiveness. Sustainable and without investing in new systems.
