New special milling machine for large-format machine body panels
Precision? It’s a question of format!
Mechanical engineering demands ever tighter tolerances. Maximum precision is the goal. The aim is to produce machines with shorter cycle times and constantly increasing output. In terms of design, this means The number of individual parts and connection points in a machine design must be reduced as far as possible. This opens up opportunities to increase efficiency and opens up decisive competitive advantages. The trend is therefore towards ever larger construction panels. Batz+Burgel manufactures them in XXL dimensions and has invested in a new large-format milling machine for this purpose. This enables us to offer you the ideal format for all requirements. In terms of partnership as well as workpiece dimensions.
3,000 x 6,000 mm
We were already capable of large sizes. With the new special milling machine, we now produce base plates for mechanical engineering and metal construction in final formats of up to 3,000 × 6,000 mm! Precise and variable. The spectrum ranges from CAD-controlled 4-axis machining to drilling all kinds of holes and milling any contours and free forms.
On the plate. Ready. Go.
The design advantages of large-format machine body panels speak for themselves. As a professional, however, are you also aware of the associated handling challenges and fear expensive follow-up investments? Wrongly so, because with us you can turn these challenges into opportunities: through professional outsourcing of component assembly.
Ready to install – just in time
Batz+Burgel not only produces large-format finished parts with all contours and openings. On request, we can even supply you with completely pre-assembled machine bodies with all add-on parts – just-in-time, directly to your final assembly, individually and on favorable terms. This reduces your internal logistics, goods flow and warehousing costs to a minimum. You relieve your skilled workers and save a lot of time and money while increasing your competitiveness. Sustainably and without investing in new systems.
