3. Main application / Special features of EN AW – 5083:

Standard plate alloy for all areas (approx. 80 % of total plate sales) – very good machining properties
Pressure vessels, supporting structures, basic machine bodies, armour plates, welded structures
Continuous operating temperature between 80° and 200 ° C with simultaneous mechanical stress must be avoided.
