3. Main application / Special features of EN AW – 2024:

A resilient material with increased strength values, which is mainly used in the aerospace industry. Use at elevated operating temperatures above 120 ° b is 180 ° C. Since normally only cold cured (T351) is used, problems can arise with larger thicknesses due to residual stress. Especially with asymmetrical machining.
