3. Main application / Special features of EN AW-7021:
Robot parts, transfer plates, printing machine parts, defence technology, welded constructions. Plancast 7021 is a high-strength cast plate which can be used as a raw blank or as a surface-milled precision plate. No microporosity of the casting plate, therefore also suitable for vacuum and hydraulic applications. Material hardens again automatically after heat application.
